Making Communities Great
PREMIER invests in all of the things that make communities great. This includes bringing world-class
entertainment acts to the region, supporting the arts and helping restore iconic landmarks.
Denny Sanford PREMIER Center
As a title sponsor of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, we help ensure that our community and the surrounding region can enjoy world-class concerts and events at home. Since opening in 2014, the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center has hosted millions of spectators and brought tens of millions of dollars to our community.
Washington Pavilion
The Washington Pavilion, originally Washington High School, is a cultural venue that hosts theater performances, art displays and nearly 100 hands-on science exhibits. In 2019, PREMIER partnered with the Pavilion during its 20th anniversary for a box office makeover. PREMIER also supports the Pavilion in other ways by sponsoring events like Free First Friday.
State Theatre
The silver screen returned to Downtown Sioux Falls, thanks in part to a $3.5 million donation from First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard owner and philanthropist, T. Denny Sanford. The gift helped with the final phases of the restoration of the theatre including high-end projection and sound equipment and adding recliners for the audience.
PREMIER is proud to be one of the sponsors of Levitt at the Falls outdoor concert venue. This important addition to downtown Sioux Falls offers 50 free concerts each summer. It’s part of the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation’s mission to build community through music.
The Arc of Dreams in downtown Sioux Falls spans the Big Sioux River representing the leap of faith dreamers and pioneers take to make their dreams possible. The stainless-steel sculpture is the length of a football field. PREMIER was proud to be one of the many that made this dream a reality.
